so, there is this app from iTunes

It’s called Lose It! and I found it extremely helpful, especially with calorie intake and the such.

Though I can’t exactly choose what my calorie goal is, I can choose how much weight I want to lose per week, and the app factors in your height, weight, gender and age and determines how many calories you should be eating, to reach said weight goal.

I really like it, because it’s really clean and organized, and I can literally see how much I’m eating and losing. Plus, if you can’t find the food you at on the list, YOU CAN SCAN THE BARCODE WITH YOUR PHONE! It’s pretty neat.
